Birthday Celebrations in Room 264
*Students may choose to bring in a birthday treat of their choice to share with the class (24 students) on a day that is convenient for you. I would prefer that it coincide with their designated time as "Student of the Week". (There are several months that are "heavy birthday" months! ) The treats will be shared near the end of the day and within our own classroom. Since there will only be 24 days out of the school year that we will have a birthday treat (as opposed to a daily healthy snack) and because we do not have any student allergies in our homeroom at this time, the students are invited to share a treat of their choice! Please be sure to send in necessary utensils/paper products. Students will wipe down their desks after the treats are finished.
Safe Daily Snack (4th Grade Policy)
We have students in our grade level with severe food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts. Due to the severity of these allergies, we are asking that you be mindful and sensitive to this when sending food into the classroom. We are asking that each child send in a healthy snack daily. Snack needs to be limited to these items mentioned below:
*Snacks for students should be kept in the side pocket of his/her backpack and not in individual lunch bags. As always, we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our students safe.
